Sun Protection

What to Expect

Mild redness and sunburn-like sensation for a few hours to days.

Slight swelling may occur.

Occasional scabbing or darkened spots on treated pigmentation.

First 5 Days – Protect and Heal

  • Apply cool packs for 10–15 minutes hourly during the first 4 hours, as needed.
  • Avoid perspiration-inducing activities (exercise, saunas, hot tubs).
  • No electrolysis, facial waxing, or depilatories for 14 days.
  • Avoid trauma, hot baths, or massage to the treated area.
  • Moisturize gently; scabs should remain soft with ointment (e.g., Aquaphor).

Day 6+ – Resume Routine Carefully

  • Gradually resume regular skincare once redness resolves.
  • Apply SPF daily to protect new skin.

Long-Term Care

Maintain results with SPF, professional skincare, and follow-up IPL sessions if recommended.
