How to Care for Your Skin After a Plasmage Treatment

So you’ve had your Plasmage treatment—now what?

Proper aftercare is essential to get the smooth, youthful results you’re hoping for, and to protect your skin during the healing process. Here’s everything you need to know:

What to Expect:

✔️ Tiny scabs or crusts (they’ll look like little dots) for 5-10 days
✔️ Mild redness and swelling—especially around the eyes—for 3-4 days
✔️ A sunburn-like feeling for the first 24-48 hours

✅ DO:

✔️ Keep It Clean

  • After 24 hours, gently cleanse with lukewarm water and a mild, non-foaming cleanser.
  • Pat dry—do not rub.
  • Use an anti-mocrobial spray (Hydrinity Hyacyn Active)

✔️ Use Your Repair Exosomes

  • Apply the REPAIR Exosome Serum we provide, twice daily.
  • This speeds healing, reduces inflammation, and boosts collagen repair.

✔️ Let the Scabs Fall Off Naturally

  • No picking, no scrubbing, no rubbing.
  • The carbon crusts will fall off on their own—usually around Day 7. Removing them early can cause scarring or pigmentation.

✔️ Protect from the Sun

  • Once healed, apply a broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30-50 every morning.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 4 weeks.

✔️ Stay Hydrated and Rested

  • Drink water and get plenty of sleep to help your body repair your skin from the inside out.

❌ DON’T:

  • No makeup, sunscreen, or harsh skincare on the treated area until the scabs fall off.
  • No hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise for 3-5 days.
  • No active skincare ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, or acne treatments until fully healed.
  • No cooling devices or ice packs unless directed.

How long will redness last?

Pinkness or light redness can last several weeks and sometimes up to 6 months as your skin remodels itself. This is normal and expected—and most people cover it with mineral makeup once the scabs are gone as well as reserve an IPL treatment to accelerate the healing.
